today, i feel famous,  @extensionfm :) extensionfm: That’s a picture of Lagartijeando, a digital cumbia artist from Buenos Aires.  How did this picture end up in the ExFM blog?     Simple: -Courtney Boyd Myers tweeted about Tremor’s  kickstarter project.-Tremor is on ZZK (zizek) records, a Buenos Aires based label born out of the club scene there.  The focus on what they call digital cumbia, which combines the traditional Cumbia sound with modern mixing and instruments.  -Tremor only had one song posted for listening so I started poking around the rest of the label’s site.  -On the label’s Lagartijeando page,  I saw the link to a Soundcloud page.  Awesome! 20 songs I could access via ExFM.  So, as the artist suggests:  ”Step onto the Lagartijeando dance floor - desert covered in a storm of stars. ” Listen here.    Our goal at ExFM is to help you discover great music from all over the web and all over the world-  send us your paths of discovery (song@extension.fm) and we’ll post ‘em!
